A former practicing periodontist (dental specialist), Dr. Zinman decided to switch to law after seeing too many patients for the bad work done elsewhere. He dedicated his career to helping the public achieve a strong standard of care. More than law, he has authored 10 edited textbooks and textbook chapters, 10 journal articles, and several regular columns in top tier professional publications. With a strong academic background, over 1500 successful cases, and community support, Dr. Zinman and his partner Jim Davis III are the de-facto team to successfully try your dental malpractice case.

Our track record is excellent -- we have won over 90% of our cases. One dentist who usually testifies for the defense wrote:

"Dr. Zinman has done more for dentistry than any other dentist I know. His legal cases help set and uphold the standard of care."

Dr. Zinman continues to lecture to dental and legal audiences. His lectures usually include, with client permission, examples of winning cases demonstrating what dentists ought to be doing to practice better dentistry and stay out of court.

A dentist whom Dr. Zinman sued later retained Dr. Zinman as his attorney after stating that being sued was a necessary wake up call as he was not keeping up with dental technology advances.

We have experince in nerve injuries causing permanent pain and/or numbness, undiagnosed or inadequately treated periodontal disease, root canal perforations or failures including non-FDA approved root canal sealants, implants, defective crowns and bridges, infections and inadequately diagnosed, treated or prevented tooth decay. Dr. Zinman is class counsel for pending class actions regarding dental cleaning devices that do not adequately protect against the buildup of bacterial biofilm in the water lines.

You might not know that it is critical for your dentist to flush the water lines and periodically chemically purge these lines. Also some popular cleaning devices should not be used during surgery at all due to bacterial biofilm buildup that is often disregarded despite contrary CDC guidelines.

Do you know what to ask of your dentist? Our helpful guides, built on years of precedent, can help prevent injury.
